Happy 4th of July!

What a crazy, busy weekend - but it sure was fun to spend time w/our amazing neighborhood! Here's a recap of this whole weekend in one post..

Friday: Riverton Parade
Saturday: A huge slip and slide at the park, BBQ and fireworks
Sunday: Dinner w/Brett's parents and then home-made ice cream sundaes, fireworks w/the neighbors THEN 50 kids on one tramp at one time and finally onto roasting marshmallows - Mmmmmm!
Monday: Boating w/the neighbors - Dad's and kids - hence why I will probably not get pics of this event =( Now to get ready for a BBQ w/my family!! It's been an amazing weekend but I'm a little sleepy! Happy 4th everyone!!

My Kindergarten Graduate!

Holy Cow - Kylee is all done with Kindergarten! This year has flown by and I can't believe how much she has grown, both physically and mentally!

In the past year and a half, Kylee has grown 2.5 inches (holy crap)! She is getting so tall, it's amazing - her legs are so stinkin long! Why didn't I get that gene? Sigh!

Kylee has also learned so, so much during Kindergarten (thanks to an amazing teacher - Mrs. Tipton)! Kylee likes to write her own books and such and does so well at them! Her reading and writing have improved so much and she amazes me every day with everything that she knows!

Kylee - me and Daddy love you so very much and we are so proud of you, for the person you are! You are sweet, caring, loving, beatiful and I just can't get enough of you! I had such a hard time having you gone every day for just half the day and now I'm going to struggle with you being in school ALL day long - gulp! It's going to be an adjustment for the both of us, I'm afraid! I truly love having you home w/me but know you should probably go to school - it's only for the best! =)

Love you Kylee!!!

Discovery Gateway!

So, Kylee has been begging to go to Discovery Gateway - she loves this place! On her last off track, we decided to go and had so much fun! It was perfect, as there were hardly any kids there - SWEET!!!! Kim and Aubrey came with us and the girls had a blast - just wish KSL would fix their TV equipment already so the girls could be on TV (hint, hint Mom - can you fix this please?!?!)! Ha ha!

Fieldtrip to the Zoo!

I got the chance to go w/Kylee on her class fieldtrip to the zoo and it was a lot of fun! I love spending time w/Kylee and am grateful for the opportunity that I have to be able to go on these fieldtrips w/her! We went around w/her two friends Ally and Paige! Such cute, cute girls!

She's Just Being Kylee & One TIRED Dad!

Here are some random pics that I must have skipped over at some point in time!

The one of Brett is after a long day of work and then coming home to work on our basement - once again! He worked his butt off to get it done and we are SO glad to have it done now!
