Fun With Christmas Gifts!

So, one thing that santa decided to bring Kylee this year was a cupcake maker - very cute, yes indeed - a bit too complicated for a 5-yr old - double YES! This will have to be a special toy that Mommy and Kylee can play with together (which is fine by me)! Below are some pics of us trying this thing out and let us just say (to sum it up) that practice makes perfect! Ha ha!

It's Christmas Time

This Christmas season has truly blessed us in ways that were not expected! A few suprises that came our way this past few weeks were very unexpected and yet very much appreciated! We spent a lot of time with family, which is my favorite part! Kylee was spoiled once again this Christmas and as she says "Santa sure thinks I'm a good girl!" Kylee is a good girl and we love her very much! She has the sweetest personality and is the most easy going girl ever! Kylee is truly one of my best friends as I love spending time with her. Looking back, I feel kind of bad for dragging her to some places (appointments, etc), but I like to take her w/me a lot as then I know I'll have someone to talk to and I know I won't feel dumb or awkward w/her by my side! I love mine and Kylee's conversations and look forward to many, many more!

Anyway, back to Christmas - ha ha! I am sad to see it over with so soon, but look forward to the year to come! Here are some pics of our fabulous Christmas!!!

Frosty the Snowman!

I love winter time - probably my favorite time of year! On Sunday, we decided to skip church to play in the snow (I know - should have gone to church) and we had so much fun!! Here is Kylee's Frosty the Snowman! He's cute!

Neighborhood Christmas Party

So, my myself and my neighbor Katie decided to throw a little Christmas party for the cute little neighbor girls last Saturday! We did a pancake/pajama party and it was so much fun! They got to eat pancakes for dinner, make a couple of cute crafts (which I forgot to get pics of) and then we had a present exchange and watched a cute Christmas movie! All-in-all, it was a fun night!!! I really love the neighborhood that we live in! Couldn't ask for better!

Ward Christmas Party!

We had our ward Christmas party on Friday night, where Kylee got to see Santa, yet again! She keeps asking each Santa for something different - she's not dumb! Ha ha ha!

Festival of Trees!

Kylee and myself went with Heather and my Mom to the Festival of Trees this year and it was so much fun! We saw my neighbor's tree that they submitted as well as a tree for Brett's Grandma Bowles that his Aunt Char helped with! It was neat to see this w/Kylee in remembrance of Grandma Bowles! We sure do miss her!
