Welcome Braeden Alan Bowles

Wow, there is SO much to catch up on and I feel so very overwhelmed but I guess I should start out by saying that "Little Man" has arrived - FINALLY!!! Braeden Alan Bowles was born on Sunday, September 19th at 2:15 p.m. (after being in labor for 12 hours)! First off - what the crap?? I heard that the second child usually comes faster than the first. Now, I know I got lucky with Kylee and only was in labor for 5 hours with her (on my own) but 12 hours for Braeden? REALLY?? I started having contractions at about midnight on Sat night/Sun morning (of course I went this day, as I was supposed to be induced the following day when MY doctor was back in town - lucky for us, the on-all doctor was amazing) and we finally went to the hospital around 2:00 in the morning (Kylee and all). After debating if they should send me home or not (which I have NO clue why they would send me home - my contractions were 3 mins apart and I was at a 4) they finally decided they were going to admit me and I was induced at 9:00 that morning! They broke my water around noon, I believe and I pushed once around 2:00 p.m. and they told me to STOP!! Ummmm - 10 mins of not being able to push - AHHHHHH! Not fun, but as soon as the doc got there, I believe I pushed maybe four more times and Braeden was here - healthy (6 lbs 10.5 oz and 19 inches)! Yay!!!!

I am just going to attach some of my fav pics (as there are way too many to post) but wow, we just can't get enough of him! He is just such a good baby - very content. If he's fed, changed and burped - he's good to go! He LOVES Kylee very much and Kylee loves him.

Braeden - you are such a blessing to our family! It is truly a miracle that you are here. With all the worry that you brought us (not that you meant to) we finally get to hold you in our arms and know that you are here safe and sound! We have loved every minute you have been here! You LOVE your big sister Kylee! You LOVE when she sings to you. You can be crying and fussy and all I have to do is put you in her arms, she starts singing, and you calm right down! We are so blessed to have you and Kylee in our lives - you truly are our angels! We love you "Little Man" and are so glad you are a part of our family!

Kylee's Cheerleading!

Kylee and six of her neighbor friends were able to participate in some mini cheer clinics for Herriman High! All, in all, after a little dissapointment w/the uniforms and that they weren't able to cheer for more than what they did, it turned out cute and I think they all had a fun time!

They got to cheer for the Herriman vs. Bingham game last night (Friday) and they all looked so stinkin cute out there! A huge thanks for all the support our families gave her by coming to the game to watch! I think Kylee was on cloud 9 all night long! BTW - My Dad got some awesome pics of Kylee that I will post as soon as he sends them to me! Love my baby girl!

Just Another Update!

So, we only have a few more days before little man gets here and we can't wait! I think we are all ready to go and we are so, so excited to be able to hold this little baby in our arms and bring him home to love him! Kylee is so excited to be a big sister and although I know it might be a little difficult at first getting used to not being the only child, I know she'll be great! We love our Kylee so very much and truly believe that she is our angel here on earth!

Here are just some recent pics of Kylee's fun hairdo that I did last Saturday and then more pics of Kylee, Aubrey and Emerson! We love Eme so much! She is so cute and we just can't get enough of her! I love my family very much!

Neighborhood Campout!

So, last year Kylee missed out on the neighborhood campout in the backyard as Brett was hunting and she was so, so sad! Well this year Brett is home and ready to sleep outside HOWEVER it's cold and windy outside. I am just sitting here wondering what time Kylee is going to realize she wants to come in and sleep in her bed. I am guessing around 2:00 this a.m. Ha ha! We'll see....

Park City!!!!

Today we decided to skip church and head up to Park City and spend some time together before little man gets here! We had a blast (even though I couldn't ride any of the rides)! My treat was the Mexican restaraunt we always go to while we're up there - Yummmmy! Afterwards we got us a snocone and headed back down the canyon to go see cute little Emerson (sigh - she's so beautiful)! I love spending time w/my little family and try not to take for granted those moments that I have with them!

Oh - and on a side note - yes, I am huge and ready to pop! My face is swollen, my fingers are swollen, my feet and ankles are swollen - all in all - a good time =0)

Just an Update!

This month has flown by! Kylee has already been in school for six weeks and is still loving it! She is starting to read and write SO good! She had to give a talk in Primary on Sunday and when I went to show her, her talk - she just started reading it all by herself and needed NO help from me! She is too dang smart for me sometimes but we are SO proud of her! This is her last week until she is off track and I can't tell you enough how excited I am to have her home for a few weeks! I miss having her home during the day with me!

As for baby, it looks like he will be here in just a little less than three weeks (Sept 20th) if not sooner - PLEASE LORD, for my Mom's sake, let me and Heather go on separate days! Ha ha! Heather will be induced on Sept 13th at 10:00 p.m. so HOPEFULLY she can have little Emerson/Lila on the 14th (my Grandma Roden's death date). We believe that my Grandma has a lot to do w/myself and Heather being able to bring children into our homes and I know she is up there watching over all of us! We miss her very much - and my Grandpa too!

So - the countdown is on and we are getting so excited! We can't wait to hold two new babies and kiss them and know that they are here safely!
